This was the soundtrack album to Elvis's 1963 film Fun in Acapulco. All eleven songs from the movie were included, as well as two bonus songs. Sales of over $1 million are claimed for Fun in Acapulco, although it has never been officially certified. This LP entered the Hot LP chart on December 21, 1963 at the number 3 slot and remained on the chart for twenty-four weeks.
